Tron Legacy (2010):
In 1989, Kevin Flynn, software engineer and CEO of ENCOM International, disappears. Twenty years later, his son, Sam, now ENCOM's primary shareholder, takes little interest in the company beyond playing an annual trick on the board of directors; but is requested by his father's friend, ENCOM executive Alan Bradley, to investigate a message originating from Flynn's abandoned Video Arcade. There, Sam discovers a secret chamber in which Sam unintentionally teleports himself to the Grid, a virtual reality created by his father.
Tron 3: When Worlds Collide: Script:
2021.
Sam Flynn and Quorra now have a 12 year old son named Brent and are both at the head of their company ENCOM International.
During a conversation between his parents, the rebellious Brent hears about the existence of the abandoned Video Arcade Room of his grandfather Kevin and he decides to visit the place. Knowing the dangers of the Grid, Sam secured the place with a DNA lock, which is broken by his son Brent.
When Brent opens the I/O portal he accidentally teleports himself to the GRID, the virtual reality world that his grandfather created and which has now completely changed. To make matters even worse three programs escape the other way and take on a human form.
After the global Internet becomes infected, Sam and Quorra discover that their son is missing. There can be only one answer: Sam and Quorra must teleport themselves into the Grid and look for their son Brent. They have to escape back to the world, bringing with them the newest security program Tron 3 to destroy the escaped programs. They can not be detected by Cyberfall, a military program that would destroy the world as we know it .
In the Grid, they discover that the program CyberFall maintains a military regime and that there is a resistance movement where Brent is hiding. Together with Eynet, a young girl, Brent managed to stay hidden and survived the attacks from Cyberfall on the resistance.
When his parents find him, Brent decides that he can not leave Eynet behind.
Reunited they have to avoid detection and reach the I/O portal before Cyberfall discovers any human presence.
